Trampoline is currently inviting emerging Photographers and Photo Artists to submit a series of images for Trampoline Projections '06 - their third competition for emerging Photographers. Entries close 5pm Thursday 15th December 2005.

Entry Guidelines

1. You must be a student of photography, a photographer's assistant, or have been a practicing photo artist or professional photographer for less than 3 yrs.

2. The submitted images can be personal or commissioned work of any genre, but must be a thematic series or body of work.

3. The work must have been completed in the last year.

4. You must have full copyright ownership of the submitted images. Copyright of the photographs shall remain with the photographer at all times. However all entrants agree to grant Trampoline usage for promotional purposes.

5. Judging Criteria includes artistic merit, image quality, originality, style and the success of the images as a series.

6. Between 12 - 20 images can be submitted for consideration with a min of 10 and max of 15 images to be included in the screening if successful.

7. The finalists images will be put together as a DVD presentation (similar to a slide show) and projected onto a cinema screen, accompanied by an original soundtrack. This will be shown in Sydney & Melbourne and possibly other states.

8. All images are to be provided as digital files on CD ROM as a non-compressed Tiff file at 72 dpi, within 600 x 800 pixels in size, in Adobe RGB (1998) colour.

9. You must provide a detailed bio (max 1 A4 page) and an artist statement about the work (max 100 words). Please provide a printed version as well as a word or pdf file on your submission CD.

10. All submitted files must be exhibition ready (e.g. cropped, retouched and in the order you wish them to be screened). They must be named as follows Number of image in the series_last name_ first Initial_title.tif (e.g. 01_Smith_M_Tree.tif)

11. Additionally, please provide your 3 best images as 300 dpi, Tiff files, in Adobe RGB (1998) colour, no smaller than A4, preferably A3 size for possible publicity purposes and exhibition opportunities.

12. All entries to be submitted with an entry form, a signed contract and a self addressed, stamped envelope if you would like your CD returned.
