Collection 10, Gallery 101, Melbourne

Collection 10 Launched at Gallery 101, Melbourne.

The Fuji ACMP Australian Photographers Collection 10 has now finished its premier exhibition at Gallery 101 in Collins St, Melbourne. Held from 1-12 February, this was a milestone tenth year for the Collection which has always featured thought-provoking, quirky and controversial images, spanning themes of exotic and suburban portraits, animals, children, architecture, the outback, and beach landscapes.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary, past Chairs of judging panels from Collection 1-9 were invited to judge Collection 10. They include photographers John Marmaras, Stuart Crossett, Richard Millott, Tim Griffith, Phil Quirk and Chris Budgeon.

Attracting more than 120,000 visitors last year, the Fuji ACMP Australian Photographers Collection 10 will now tour Brisbane, Sydney and Adelaide - and no doubt attract a similiarly large throng of enthralled onlookers. The Collection gives the public and our clients an opportunity to see both commissioned and non-commissioned photography and students' work as a magnificent art form in its own right, beyond the short life of ad campaigns or magazines.
